Precinct 2 and the US Marshals preformed an arrest warrant for evading unwittingly unveiled a public nuisance complete with electrical theft.

On May 16, 2025, Harris County Precinct 2 Constables Jerry Garcia’s Special Operation Unit, along with the assistance of the US Marshals Office, executed an arrest warrant located along the 10600 block of Kirkdale. Along with a Felony Arrest Warrant for Evading on file for one of the residents, deputies were also conducting an investigation, alongside Center Point Energy, for electrical theft.
Upon executing this arrest warrant, investigators found that the electrical panel where the power entered the residence was tampered with, allowing the residence to obtain free electrical power. The tampering off the panel caused there to be exposed wires which were energized and a danger to anyone walking near the area.
During this investigation deputies and marshals were able to take 25 year old Randle Medlin for his felony warrant after a brief foot pursuit, and also charged him with Criminal Mischief for the tampering and stealing of the electrical services.
Suspect Medlin was later transported and booked into Harris County Jail without further incident. Investigators are also aware that this residence is a public nuisance, and are currently working to resolve this issue. Constable Garcia wants his residents to know that he hears your concerns, and will continue to address all issues that are reported to him. Please stay safe and God Bless.
