Theft Suspects Caught Thanks to Quick Deputy Response
Earlier today, deputies responded to a theft in progress in the 1800 block of West Bay Area Blvd. Upon arrival, deputies quickly located and detained two individuals who had walked past all points of sale with over $1,300 worth of merchandise.
The suspects were identified as Hazel Cruz and Jordon Ortiz. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Theft.
Both Cruz and Ortiz were transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center without incident.
