EVENING SHIFT HARRIS COUNTY PRECINCT 2 DEPUTIES ARREST A MALE FOR THEFT AT A LOCAL TARGET.
On Tuesday June 24, 2025, deputies received a call for service regarding a theft at 1801 W Bay Area Blvd.
Asset protection advised two males were concealing items and passed all points of sale. Asset protection was able to provide an accurate description of the males and deputies were able to locate and detain both. One male was identified as 24 year old Baptiste, Markell. The other male was a juvenile who’s identity will not be disclosed at this time.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted the charge of theft. Markell was arrested and booked into Harris County jail without further incident. The juvenile was charged and later released to a parent upon completion.
