On January 29, 2025, deputies were notified by the South Houston Police Department that they were searching for a suspect who had evaded arrest. Over the next several days, multiple agencies joined the search, including the Houston Police Department, Harris County Constable Precinct 8, and our deputies.
On February 7, 2025, Precinct 2 deputies were informed that the suspect vehicle had been spotted traveling eastbound on Almeda Road near Telephone Road, pulling a gooseneck trailer. Deputies began searching the area for the vehicle. A Precinct 8 deputy located the vehicle in the 8700 block of Almeda Genoa Road. The suspect led deputies on a brief pursuit before crashing in the 8400 block of Almeda Genoa Road and fleeing on foot.
Harris County Constable Precinct 2 deputies arrived on scene and deployed a TASER, successfully detaining the suspect, identified as Isaac Bass. Mr. Bass was found to have an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued by the Waller County Sheriff’s Office for failing to appear in a burglary case.
Harris County Constable Precinct 8 assumed primary and transported Mr. Bass to the Joint Processing Center, where he was booked for the open warrant and felony evading in a motor vehicle.
