Precinct 2 deputies found out different about a felon suspect previously unknown to them, due to teamwork the streets are that much safer.

WARRANT ARREST – ROBBERY SUSPECT CAPTURED

On August 4, 2025, deputies with Harris County Constable Precinct 2 were alerted to a stolen vehicle in the 9600 block of Clearwood Street. Deputies quickly responded and located the vehicle in the 10300 block of Blackhawk Boulevard, where they conducted a felony traffic stop. The driver, identified as Chauncey Amir Young, and a female passenger were detained.

At the time of the stop, no active warrants were returned when Mr. Young was run through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC). Additionally, after multiple attempts deputies to contact the registered owner in Arkansas, and receiving no response, both occupants were released, and the vehicle was recovered.

The following day, Precinct 2 deputies were notified that Mr. Young was wanted out of Little Rock, Arkansas, on two felony robbery warrants and one felony battery warrant.

Acting swiftly, the Precinct 2 Special Operations Unit, in collaboration with the U.S. Marshals Office, launched an operation to locate Mr. Young. On August 6, 2025, authorities successfully apprehended him in the 12700 block of Featherwood Drive without incident.
