Precinct 2 Deputies popped four 🤡’s suspiciously knocking on a citizen’s door leading to uncovering stolen firearms.

Thursday, April 17, 2025, a call was made to our dispatch center from a citizen who wanted to report some suspicious males, who were knocking on his door to his residence. The citizens found them to be suspicious when two of the males were hiding their hands in their waistbands. The males had originally left the location in a vehicle and returned shortly. Deputies arrived at the location and attempted to stop the vehicle and a pursuit ensued.

Deputies pursued the vehicle for approximately 10 minutes until the suspect’s vehicle was disabled. Two adult males and two juvenile males were taken into custody. Two firearms were recovered and one of the firearms was reported stolen from Louisiana. The driver was identified as 17-year-old male Jose Cruz and the front passenger was an 18-year-old male named Adrian Vasquez. Mr. Cruz (left picture) was charged with Felony Evading in a motor vehicle and the passenger Mr. Vasquez (right picture) was charged with Unlawfully Carrying a Weapon. The two juvenile males were released with no charges after consulting with the district attorney’s office.
