On Sunday, February 02, 2025, the dedicated Day shift Deputies were dispatched to the 12039 block of Back Bay Ridge Way for a family disturbance call for service between a husband and wife regarding child custody. The Complainant was found credible and reliable, and she was living with her sister and brother-in-law to remain in a safe environment with her 7-year-old son from the Defendant. The Complainant stated the Defendant came to her brother-in-law’s residence unannounced and entered the home attempting to take her child. The Defendant was irate and was instructed to leave by the homeowner (brother-in-law). The Complainant stated that the Defendant has been aggressive and controlling for 4 years. The Defendant has assaulted her repeatedly and repeatedly threatened to kill her. At one point, Defendant threatened the Complainant to pour “ACID” on her body, and due to his medical profession, he was able to obtain it, but Defendant was unable to locate the “ACID,” so Defendant poured alcohol all over her body.
Due to exigent circumstances of the Defendant committing the offense of an intent to threaten, in a manner reasonably likely to alarm the person receiving the threat, to inflict bodily injury on the person to commit a felony against the person, a member the Defendant’s family or household, Deputies contacted the Harris County Attorney’s Office, and a charge for Harassment was accepted. A protective order was also requested for the Complainant due to the circumstances. The Defendant was placed into custody and taken to the Harris County Joint Processing Center, where he was released to the Harris County jail staff in good health with no further incident.
