Precinct 2 Deputies stopped a speedy car, leading to a night in the drunk tank that’s no fun for even 🤡’s.

PRECINCT 2 DEPUTIES ARREST SUSPECTED INTOXICATED DRIVER

While on patrol, Harris County Precinct 2 deputies observed a vehicle traveling at speeds over 100 MPH and nearly causing a crash. Deputies conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, a female identified as Alysa Jenkins.

Upon contact, deputies observed several signs of intoxication. Ms. Jenkins agreed to perform Standardized Field Sobriety Tests. When asked to provide a breath sample, she refused.

A search warrant was drafted, signed by a judge, and executed for a blood specimen. Ms. Jenkins was transported and booked into the Harris County Joint Processing Center, charged with Driving While Intoxicated.

Speeding and impaired driving put everyone on the road at risk. Let’s work together to keep our community safe.
