Precinct 2 Deputies swiftly apprehended a wanted woman after community vigilance turned a casual call into a successful arrest and safer streets.

Harris County Constable Precinct Two Deputies responded to a call from a concerned citizen regarding suspicious individuals loitering around a business in the 8300 block of Gulf Freeway.

Deputies quickly located the group, and one female, Demri Dehanay Thomas, was identified as wanted by the Texas Pardon and Parole Board for Parole Violation – Burglary. The warrant was confirmed, and Ms. Thomas was taken into custody and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center.

This case is a great reminder that when our community speaks up, it makes a difference. Another example of See Something, Say Something leading to an arrest and safer neighborhoods.
