Toll Road deputies with the Harris County Precinct #2 Constable’s Office, observed a vehicle driving at a high-rate of speed, 86 mph in a 65 mph zone.
Deputies caught up to the vehicle in the 7700 block of S Sam Houston Tollway East. After conducting a traffic stop and making contact with the driver, they observed signs of intoxication. Field sobriety tests were administered, and the driver was found to be impaired. The driver also provided a Breath Sample, which was found to be .120, over the legal limit of .08.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Illel Tablas, was arrested and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where charges for Misdemeanor Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) were filed. Stay safe and God bless.
