Precinct 2 Deputy Pattum lit up Claudett for expired registration and she decided a high-speed chase was a better option.

🚔Pursuit Arrest – 8900 Block S. Sam Houston Tollway

Deputy Pattum initiated a traffic stop on a westbound vehicle in the 8900 block of the S. Sam Houston Tollway for expired registration. The driver failed to yield, resulting in a vehicle pursuit.
During the pursuit, the deputy noted the driver had multiple opportunities to stop in well-lit areas or take the upcoming exit but continued to evade. The vehicle eventually exited at Wayside and pulled into the Valero gas station at Fayridge Dr. and the S. Sam Houston Tollway East.
A high-risk felony stop was conducted, and the driver, identified as 52-year-old Claudett Tucker, was safely taken into custody. The Harris County ADA accepted felony evading charges.

No injuries or damage to personnel or equipment were reported. The SharePoint Pursuit Form and Pursuit Review Form have been completed.
Stay safe, God bless!
