Thursday, January 16, 2025, at approximately 11:05 PM, a Harris County Precinct Two Deputy observed a vehicle traveling southbound on Richey Street in the City of Pasadena, Texas, without headlights. The deputy conducted a traffic stop and learned that the vehicle had been reported stolen. Two occupants were detained safely, and the vehicle was confirmed stolen out of the City of South Houston Police Department. The suspect was identified as David Patrick Sweet, who was arrested for the offense and transported to the Harris County Jail. The second suspect was identified and released on scene with no charges.
