Precinct 2 locked up a wanted dummy hiding in plain sight from late-night theft.

Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at approximately 1:53 am, deputies from Harris County Precinct Two responded to a theft of business type call at the 11000 block of S Sam Houston Parkway East. Deputies arrived at the location and gathered the information from the store clerk, who said two males stole some merchandise without paying for it. The clerk provided the license plate of the vehicle the suspects fled in. The registered owner of the car lived a few blocks away from the store. Deputies went to the registered owner’s house and located the car parked outside in the street. The vehicle was occupied by three males who were detained. One male refused to identify himself initially. After learning about his identity, deputies discovered that the male Garcia, Blake had an outstanding warrant for his arrest from Wharton County for a probation violation. Mr. Garcia was arrested for the warrant and failure to identify as a fugitive.
