Precinct 2 Sergeant Garcia discovered two wanted 🤡’s while addressing a vehicle going the wrong way.

While conducting active patrols in the Sagemont community, a night shift Sergeant with the Office of Harris County Constable, Precinct 2 – Constable Jerry Garcia, observed a vehicle traveling the wrong way on Hughes Road near the Beltway. A traffic stop was immediately initiated to address the dangerous driving behavior.

Upon contact, the driver exhibited no signs of impairment. However, a routine check revealed the driver had an open warrant for his arrest. Further investigation into the passenger’s identity revealed that he, too, was wanted.

The driver, identified as Willians Benitez, was taken into custody for a Felony Warrant – Possession of a Controlled Substance. The passenger, identified as Jorge Rangel, was arrested for a Misdemeanor Warrant – Violation of a Protective Order.

Both individuals were transported to the appropriate facility for booking without incident. This incident reflects Constable Jerry Garcia’s ongoing commitment to community safety and proactive enforcement efforts within Precinct 2.
