Precinct 2 stopped a stopped a car for expired tags and ended up locking up two 🤡’s in one pop.

TRAFFIC STOP LEADS TO MULTIPLE ARREST

On Tuesday March 25. 2025, Constable Jerry Garcia’s night shift patrol was conducting traffic enforcement in the 8000 block of Interstate 610 when a unit encountered a vehicle with expired temporary tags. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified by a Texas ID Card. Due to not having shown a license at this time, the passenger was also identified in hopes of locating a licensed driver. Upon performing a check on both occupants, the driver identified as 56-year-old Hugo Salinas was found to have an open Felony Warrant through Harris County for Theft. The passenger was identified as 39-year-old Jonathan Garcia, who was found to have an open Misdemeanor Warrant through Galveston County for Assault – Family Violence.
