Our thoughts are with the two Precinct 4 Deputies who were struck overnight when a suspected impaired driver struck their patrol vehicles. The Deputies were out on a pedestrian in the roadway call on the Sam Houston Toll Road near Ella Blvd. when the crash occurred. We pray for the full recovery of all involved in this incident.

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s office were out on a pedestrian in the roadway on the Sam Houston toll road at Ella, when a suspected impaired driver crashed into the deputies vehicles, and deputies while out of their vehicles.
One deputy has been taken by helicopter to Hermann hospital the other deputy has been ground transported to a local hospital.
The toll road is completely shutdown and Constable investigators are investigating. Please avoid the area !
