Traffic Stop leads to arrest
Earlier today, a Harris County Precinct 2 Constable Deputy observed a vehicle traveling nearly twice the posted limit. Harris County Precinct Two Deputy immediately initiated a traffic stop for the speeding violation.
During the stop, the deputy discovered that the driver had an open warrant. Additionally, the registration sticker on the vehicle did not match the vehicle’s information. When asked, the driver admitted to placing the sticker on the vehicle himself.
The Assistant District Attorney was contacted and accepted charges for Tampering with a Government Document. The driver was taken into custody without incident.
