Members of Precinct 8 attended the funeral service for fallen Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Fernando Esqueda earlier today. It is very clear to all who never had the privilege of meeting him that he was truly a great man. For him to be taken in such a cowardly way has left a hole in the hearts of his family, fellow law enforcement officers and his many friends that will never be filled. Our thoughts continue to be with his family and the entire Harris County Sheriff’s Office during this unimaginable and difficult time. Thank you for your service Deputy Esqueda.
