Precinct 8 Deputies Arrest Suspect for Burglary, Evading Arrest, and Failure to Identify
Unincorporated Harris County, Texas – On Sunday, August 10, 2025, at approximately 9:04 a.m., the Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office received a call regarding a male subject trespassing within the fence line of a commercial property in the 4100 block of Underwood Road, in unincorporated Harris County.
Responding deputies discovered a large section of the perimeter fence had been cut away. Video surveillance footage showed the suspect actively cutting locks from storage boxes and trailers.
Deputies from Precinct 8, with assistance from the La Porte Police Department, located the suspect in the northeast section of the property. Upon entering the property, deputies issued repeated commands for the suspect to reveal himself and get on the ground. The suspect refused to comply and attempted to flee on foot.
A brief foot pursuit ensued, during which deputies deployed Tasers to stop the suspect’s escape. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident.
The individual initially provided false identification but was later confirmed to be Noah Ray Scott, 27, of Highlands, Texas. Scott was found to have multiple outstanding warrants, including a probation violation for Felon in Possession of a Firearm out of Harris County.
A search of Scott’s person, vehicle, and the immediate area revealed: several Texas license plates belonging to vehicles he did not own, drug paraphernalia, five cut Master locks. large bolt cutters.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office accepted charges of Failure to Identify as a Fugitive and Evading Arrest/Detention on Foot. Additional charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
