Precinct 8 Deputy Bullock ended up in a wild high-speed chase with a daring 17-year-old 🤡 who forgot to take off his work shoes before he ran.

A traffic stop on April 2, 2025, resulted in a high-speed pursuit and the arrest of a 17-year-old driver. Deputy Bullock was conducting routine patrol in the area of Edgebrook and the Gulf Freeway when he initiated a stop on a gray Honda for displaying an expired temporary tag. While the vehicle initially pulled over, it sped off once Deputy Bullock made contact, sparking a pursuit.

The pursuit lasted approximately six miles before reaching Algonquin Drive, where Deputy Bullock observed the passenger exit the vehicle while it was still moving. Deputy Bullock stopped to render aid, and assisting deputies quickly established a perimeter around the area. The suspect vehicle was located inside an apartment complex in the 11800 block of Algonquin Dr. Witnesses reported seeing the vehicle driving erratically through the complex before it abruptly stopped. They observed the driver exit the vehicle, flee into an apartment, and later leave the apartment shortly before the vehicle was located.

With the help of witnesses, deputies were able to obtain information on the suspect’s direction of travel. This led to the successful location of the driver, identified as 17-year-old Eduardo Carcamo, at a nearby business. He was taken into custody without further incident and charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle.

The passenger, who had exited the vehicle during the pursuit, was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
