Our prayers are with the Lakeview Police Department this afternoon upon learning of the loss of Officer Larry Blacksmith. Officer Blacksmith was a friend to many within our organization. Prior to joining Lakeview PD, he had a long career with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and was beloved by so many people. We are deeply saddened by this news and are thinking of his family and friends at this time.
