On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at approximately 7:44 P.M., Harris County Precinct 8 Constable’s Office dispatchers received a call regarding a welfare check on a female causing a disturbance at Pomodoro’s Italian Restaurant, located in the 1000 block of Pineloch Blvd.
According to reports, a woman appearing highly intoxicated had created a disturbance inside the restaurant before leaving on foot. The same woman was later observed walking in the roadway, creating a potential danger to herself and motorists, before returning to the restaurant.
Deputy O. Cartlidge responded to the scene and made contact with the female subject. During the investigation, it was determined the woman had failed to pay her tab, and restaurant management requested she be issued a Criminal Trespass Warning.
When asked to provide her identification, the woman repeatedly refused and ultimately provided multiple misspellings of her name and a fictitious birthday. Utilizing a Mobile AFIS (Automated Fingerprint Identification System) scanner, Deputy Cartlidge positively identified the subject as Stephanie Gauthreaux, a 43-year-old white female from Friendswood, Texas.
Further investigation revealed Gauthreaux had multiple active warrants from Harris County, Collin County, and the Friendswood Police Department. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Failure to Identify – Fugitive from Justice.
Gauthreaux was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center.
