Big welcomes come in tiny packages! 🐊
Next time you step into ABNC’s Admissions Office, listen closely… you might hear plenty of squeaks, chirps, and the occasional wobbly splash. We’re hosting a few baby alligator greeters while they grow, gain strength, and get ready for the big wild world.
They’ll be making themselves right at home with us for the next year until they’re big enough for release into their natural habitat. Drop in, say hello, and watch them grow!

Summary
The Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge (ABNC) has introduced a new attraction in its Admissions Office: baby alligators. These young reptiles will spend the next year at the refuge, where visitors can observe them as they grow and prepare for their eventual release into the wild. The alligators are expected to provide an engaging, interactive experience for guests, who can listen to their sounds and watch their behaviors. ABNC encourages the public to stop by and get a glimpse of the alligators during their developmental phase. The initiative highlights the refuge’s commitment to wildlife conservation and education.
