Today marks the first day of training for the Pasadena Police Academy’s 89th and 90th Cadet Classes.
These photos capture the “warm welcome” the cadets received from Instructors Gonzalez and Peña, an introduction more like a drill sergeant’s greeting than a casual hello. From the very first day, the emphasis is on punctuality, discipline, and attention to detail, setting the foundation for everything that lies ahead.
As both classes begin their journeys, we also invite you to stay tuned in the coming weeks for the conclusion of Cadet Watch: Episode 4, where Class 88 makes the transition from cadets to probationary patrol officers.
We wish the cadets a successful and rewarding year of training as they take their first steps toward becoming Pasadena Police Officers.
