SAGEMONT CIVIC CLUB GETS GREAT COMMUNITY SUPPORT FOR FLOODING ASSISTANCE
Constable Jerry Garcia wants to take a moment to recognize the fantastic folks at the Sagemont Civic Club! Upon hearing the needs of the flooded communities in and around Kerrville Ms.
Kay Barbour with the Sagemont Civic Club lept into action. She immediately began organizing the acceptance of donations to directly assist and support those in need.
With the help of the Gardens Event Hall and Tigers Eye Party Rental, and numerous volunteers they were able to gather a huge amount of food, clothing, cleaning products, water, and numerous other items for the victims and first responders. These donations were gathered over the next few days by the wonderful volunteers.
On Thursday morning deputies with Constable Garcia’s Office assisted with the transportation of these goods to Gallery Furniture, where Mattress Mack has organized the transportation of these goods to Kerrville and the surrounding communities.
We cannot thank all the above people enough, including all the wonderful people of our community that provided these much needed donations. The love and support you have all shown is truly remarkable! Thank you again, and God Bless.
