🎓 State of Education Luncheon Recap 📚
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce’s annual State of Education Membership Luncheon!
We were honored to hear from three incredible leaders in education:
✨ Dr. Toni Lopez – Pasadena ISD
✨ Dr. Laurel Williamson – San Jacinto College
✨ Dr. Tina Powellson – University of Houston-Clear Lake
These inspiring speakers shared valuable insights on current educational trends, challenges facing our schools and colleges, and exciting opportunities for collaboration between educators and business leaders. We also celebrated the remarkable achievements made over the past year across all levels of education in our community.
We are so appreciative to our partners at Pasadena Independent School District, San Jacinto College and UH-Clear Lake Hawks for making this a truly unique experience for our guests. Students from CTHS and Sam Rayburn helped Savannah Cafe & Bakery serve lunch, we had the drumline from Pasadena High School open up the show with a very fun performance, and a student from South Houston High School led us in the pledges. All three institutions had their mascots present to add to the fun. The Chick-fil-a Pasadena Cow even joined in!
