Precinct 8 is participating in a multi-agency Driving While Intoxicated, No Refusal initiative hosted by Harris County Precinct 1. Our Deputies will be proactively patrolling the streets of Harris County this Labor Day weekend from August 29th through September 1st for intoxicated drivers.
Harris County continues to lead the nation in preventable fatality traffic crashes. Alternative transportation options, such as ride shares and cabs, are readily available so please arrange a safe ride if you plan to drink.
