Our Street & Bridge Department has been hard at work to ensure our drainage systems are functioning properly. Recently, crews cleaned the ditches along Preston Avenue, between Vista and Fairmont. This project involved clearing 1,800 feet of excess vegetation and debris to create an unobstructed drainage path. Annually, crews clean 15,000 feet of ditches as part of our city’s ongoing commitment to flood mitigation.
