On Saturday, October 28, 2023 at approximately 2:15 PM, Precinct 8 Deputies Garcia and Camarillo with Constable Phil Sandlin’s Office were dispatched to assist Galveston County Sherriff’s Office with a pursuit involving three motorcycles.
Deputies located the motorcycles in the 15700 block of the Gulf Freeway. The motorcycles continued to evade northbound taking the E Sam Houston Pkwy exit ramp. One motorcycle ultimately came to a stop at E Sam Houston Pkwy N and Conklin Ln. The driver was apprehended and identified as 25 year old Christopher Rashad Griffin.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted charges for Evading Arrest Detention with Vehicle. Griffin was transported to the Harris County Joint Processing Center where his bond was set at $5,000.
