Hi, I’m Cisco. I’ve been struggling ever since I was brought back. I don’t really understand what happened. I was so excited to find a home, and I thought I was doing everything right. But now I’m back here, and it feels like I’m not enough.
The shelter staff tells me I’m friendly and loving—I just want to be the best boy I can be, but I don’t know what I did wrong. All I know is that now I’m surrounded by unfamiliar faces and strange noises. I’m so scared. Every day, I worry that I’ll never have a home again.
I’m on the Urgent List, and I’m starting to lose hope. My heart is heavy, but I still have a tiny bit of hope that maybe there’s someone out there who can show me that I’m still worthy of love.
