Anthony, who is now named Jacks, has made quite the impression on his new family! Check out what they had to say:

“I’m not sure if this is common practice, but I wanted to share an adoption SUCCESS story with your team. In April, we adopted “Anthony” from the shelter who was on the URGENT need list due to being stressed in the environment. We have always adopted pets in the past but from local fostering agencies, so this was our first time adopting directly from a shelter and we were unsure exactly what to expect.

Over the last few months – “Anthony”, now JACKS (my husband and I both graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University – “Axe’em Jacks”), is thriving! He is incredibly smart (knows how to sit, shake, stay), loves to play and RUN, and show off his big personality. He has grown to love trips in the car, walks around the neighborhood, playing with his puppy-cousins, and chewing ANYTHING he can find.

While we know that adopting a pet from a shelter can sometimes feel like a gamble – in all our years adopting, we have always been incredibly lucky to end up with pets that bring so much joy and love to our family.”

Jordan is a sweet, happy, loving girl with a fun personality! She has her gentle side of easily picking up on emotions, being caring, and wanting to cuddle. But she also loves running around and playing in the backyard. She even enjoys listening to Christian music during her kennel time to soothe!

She is being fostered with another dog and they get along, she has been around kids and did well, she has been around cats and was curious and not aggressive, and she has also learned the commands of sit, shake, kennel, and come.

Her favorite toy is a small yellow duck, her favorite treat is a Kong ball peanut butter popsicle, and her favorite activities are zoomies outside, cuddling, and watching a movie. Jordan is a sweetheart who overtime has bloomed into the beautiful girly pup she is!”
