“I adopted my sweet dog Mac (Fleetwood Mac is my favorite band so I named him Mac) in January of 2022 and I just wanted to let y’all know how much he has changed my entire family’s life!
I’ve had some great dogs in my life but this sweet boy might be the best yet! He is so intuitive and caring and somehow just knows when someone is having a bad day because he loves on them extra.
He is the best adventure partner, cuddle bug and constant companion. He’s so patient with my nieces and nephews and all the people and dogs we meet. My brother and I both have pretty intense anxiety and he’s always begging me to let Mac stay with him because this dog makes all of that so much more bearable.
This sweet boy is being well cared for and very well loved! Thank you so much for all you do and for helping bring our precious pupper into our lives.”

We’re working with Houston Pets Alive! and Houston PetSet to help keep your pets happy, healthy, and safe 🐶🐱.

Here’s what you can expect:

• VERIFICATION: The first 100 owned pets from City of Pasadena residents will be serviced. You MUST verify your address with this link using the instructions on the flyer: https://tinyurl.com/HarrisCountyAddressLookup

• PETS: There is a 2-pet maximum per household. Healthy animals only. No visibly sick animal will be serviced and pets must be on a leash or in a carrier.

• VACCINES: Only DHPP and FVRCP will be given (No Rabies vaccine). A vet will not be on-site that day, and records will be mailed or emailed after the event.

• PROCESS: All customers will receive a number to be “in line” when they arrive. First come first serve. No pre-registration. There may be a wait, so please plan accordingly (weather, heat, etc.).

This event will take place on the side parking lot of 5200 Burke Rd. Pasadena, TX. Check out the map for further instructions.

Great news! The shelter has updated its hours of operation to better serve you and our furry friends. Starting today, we will be open from 11am to 5pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 11am to 6pm on Tuesday and Thursday, and from 11am to 4pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sundays. These new hours were designed with your convenience in mind, making it easier for you to visit, adopt, and spend time with lovable companions.
