In 1971, astronaut Alan Shepard returned from the moon and after being released from quarantine, immediately went to get a haircut. He gave his barber, Carlos Villagomez, an autographed golf ball. During his Apollo 14 moonwalk just days earlier, Shepard had conducted a world-famous demonstration of gravity by hitting a golf ball on the moon. Was the golf ball he gave to Mr. Villagomez on the moon? What prompted him to give the unique gift to his barber?
