It was a fantastic collaboration effort that resulted in fun and learning for all! It’s Fall Y’all and what better way to celebrate than by making some cute decor? 🍂📚
Join us as we show you how to make a pumpkin from your old books. The craft hour is a first come, first served event while supplies last.
Get ready for Halloween and celebrate in an eco-friendly way with a new-to-you costume! 🎃
Bring in your gently used costume by THURSDAY, OCTOBER 3! You’ll get a ticket for each costume you bring.
Here is how it works:
👻 We’ll accept costumes for all ages and styles, from toddlers to adults. Please make sure all costumes are in good condition, and free of tears and stains.
👻 If you have a ticket, visit on Saturday, October 5 between 10 and 11 a.m. to pick out a costume for each ticket. Everyone is welcome to come between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to pick out a costume.
👻 Leftover costumes after the event will be donated to local charities.

Those are just some of many kinds of vegetables indigenous to other countries, but that also grow well here. Harris County Master Gardener Teresa See will show you how to grow these and other international vegetables, and also why you might like to have them in your garden!
