I’m Honeybun and I’m known for being as sweet as my name, but the truth is, I’m really struggling here in the shelter. The unfamiliar faces, the noise, the constant hustle and bustle… it’s all so overwhelming. I just want to be in a warm, cozy home, surrounded by love, where I can finally feel safe.
But now, I’m on the Urgent List, and time is running out. The stress is taking its toll, and I don’t know how much longer I can hang on like this. I keep hoping, keep wishing that someone will see me, truly see me, and take me out of here.
