Hi, I’m Tootsie and my heart is full of fear every day in the shelter…
I came in as a lost cat, and I’ve been scared ever since. Everything and everyone is unfamiliar…I just want to go back home…
My fear causes me to be picky with who I trust, and I know that makes me hard to understand. I don’t mean to be this way—but this fear just won’t let go.
The shelter says I might need to get out of here to feel better, but I’m on the Urgent List now… and time is running out.
I need someone who can see past my fear and show me that the world can be a kinder place. Could you be that person?
