Meet today’s Foster Features: Baird & Salt! 🐾
These two are thriving in foster care — and while they’re not bonded, they’ve both made a big impression in their own unique ways.
🐶 Baird is the definition of calm and comforting.
He spends most of his day relaxing, watching the world go by from the window, or catching up on naps. He enjoys gentle affection, especially little forehead pats, and is happiest when he can be close to his person. His crate is his quiet retreat, where he’ll sometimes go to recharge when he’s feeling more introverted.
Though laid-back, Baird still enjoys playful moments with the younger dogs in the home. He’s very well-mannered around people and would be a wonderful emotional support companion. His foster is still learning about his behavior around children, but so far, he seems like a genuinely sweet and adaptable dog.
🐶 Salt, affectionately known as Sal, is a young pup with a bright spirit.
He’s doing great with other dogs, is full of energy, and is currently working on crate training and basic cues. He’s eager to learn and be part of a home where he can continue to grow. While you’re working from home, Salt is happy to quietly entertain himself nearby — whether playing with toys or curling up for a nap. He’s the kind of companion who just wants to be close.
Both Baird and Salt are available for adoption (individually) and would love to find a home where they can feel safe, loved, and part of the family.
