On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, Precinct 8 Street Crimes Unit and Criminal Investigations Division with the assistance of Jerry Garcia, Harris County Constable Precinct 2 Special Operations Unit executed a search warrant in the 1200 block of Bay Area Blvd. During their search, deputies located 12.5 grams of cocaine, 18 grams of green leafy substance, 39 grams of Gabapentin and a digital scale. As a result of the findings associated with the search, deputies arrested 55 year old Darrel Donell Odom.
The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted and accepted a felony charge for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Odom was transported to the Harris Joint Processing Center where his bond was set at $75,000.
