This is the power of community.
When Ms. Stewart donated a motorized chair, she thought of American Legion Post 521. Our Post was able to connect her generosity with Mr. Jesus Bandu, who can now move around with greater freedom and independence.
The picture shows Mr. Banda alongside Post leadership, including Commander Louis Lerma and Vice Commander Hector R. Garza, as the chair was presented.
The American Legion is more than a veterans’ organization—we are neighbors serving neighbors and strengthening our community together.
