On May 15, 2024, a green skyjack forklift got stuck in the southeast corner of the Pasadena Fairgrounds in preparation for the Pasadena Strawberry Festival.
At approximately 11:15 p.m. on this date, someone entered a construction site on the northwest corner of the Pasadena Fairgrounds and took a large track excavator without the owner’s consent. This individual then drove it across the Pasadena Fairground and pulled the stuck skyjack forklift out of the mud.
Approximately one hour later, the track excavator was returned to the construction site. If you saw the individual operating this equipment and can provide any description of them (clothing, any physical descriptors) or if you know who was operating the excavator, contact Detective K.C.
