Cadets gearing up for thrills and skills at the Pasadena Police Academy – setting the standard.

This morning, 17 individuals gathered to begin their journey as cadets at the Pasadena Police Academy. Officer Gonzalez took the lead in emphasizing key reminders crucial for the cadets’ success.

He stressed the significance of each cadet being vigilant about the placement of their gear, maintaining the cleanliness of their uniform, and upholding a polished overall appearance. This seemingly straightforward task not only enhances their external image but serves as a fundamental method to instill discipline, organization, and prioritization.

Officer Gonzalez maintains high expectations, demanding that each cadet move with purpose and pay meticulous attention to detail, which will assist in the preparation for the responsibilities of a patrol officer post-graduation.

Chief Wright, along with Assistant Chiefs Dombrowa and Warnke, engaged in conversation with the cadets and emphasized the paramount importance of prioritizing morals and values.

We wish the cadets the best of luck, and we will periodically announce updates as they progress through the academy.
