Summary
The Paws In Good Hands Adoption Day, scheduled for tomorrow at Kirkwood Veterinary Hospital, has been canceled due to forecasted weather conditions. The event will be rescheduled for next year. Despite the cancellation, the Animal Shelter and Adoption Center will remain open tomorrow from 11 AM to 4 PM for those interested in visiting. The Adoption Day aimed to connect potential pet owners with dogs ready for adoption, featuring free veterinary exams, discounts on vaccinations, and complimentary doses of heartworm and flea prevention. Foster pet owners were encouraged to bring their dogs for a chance to meet future families. Further updates regarding the rescheduling of the adoption event are expected in the coming months.
