The Pasadena Police Department will offer a women’s self-defense course beginning April 10, 2024. This is a four-day course, which will be held from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm each night. (April 10, April 11, April 17, April 18) Ladies aged 14 and older are eligible to register.
R.A.D. provides effective options by teaching women to take an active role in their self-defense and psychological well-being. R.A.D. is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques.
The comprehensive self-defense course for women begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance while progressing to the basics of hands-on defensive training.
