Get an exclusive inside look at the Pasadena Police Department by enrolling in the 42nd Citizens Police Academy.

Have you ever wanted an inside look into the police department? Well, you’re in luck.

The Pasadena Police Department is hosting its 42nd Citizens Police Academy, beginning February 27, 2024. This 11-week course is designed to give students a better understanding of the Pasadena Police Department. We will cover topics such as S.W.A.T., Crime Scene Investigations, K-9, police pursuits, Investigations, and much more. Classes will consist of lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice.

You will visit different areas of the police department and see it as few other citizens have. We will help you understand how we do our jobs, why we do things in a certain way, and how you can help us to serve you better.

Classes will be held once a week on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Pasadena Police Academy, located at 6052 Genoa-Red Bluff Rd.
