The La Porte Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the vehicle and suspect involved in a hit and run accident that left a motorcycle driver with serious injuries on September 28th at approx. 1913 hours around the 1900 block of the Northbound lanes of SH 146. The suspect vehicle is supposed to be a small passenger car but the color varies from witness statements. The vehicle struck the motorcycle driver once and then again intentionally which caused him to lose control. The suspect vehicle then continued Northbound on 146. Possible damage to the suspect vehicle could be on the driver’s side.
