Sharpen your pencils and get ready to explore the art of love poetry with author Icess Fernandez Rojas, and join in a discussion about poetry and storytelling.

These themes are tied to the play December, written by Marisela Trevino Orta and premiering Alley Theatre later this month. Participants will receive a free ticket to the play on January 23. 🎟

Icess Fernandez Rojas, an educator, writer and former journalist, is author of “The Opposite of Breathing is Cement” and a graduate of Goddard College’s MFA program and the University of Houston.
