LPPD Chief Ditrich Swearing in of new board members and Volunteer of the Year at the La Porte Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association Meeting.

Chief Doug Ditrich had the honor of swearing in the new board members for the La Porte Citizen’s Academy Alumni Association last night during their first meeting of 2024 (From left to right: 1st Vice President-Randy LeBlanc, President-Richard Browder, 2nd Vice President-Darla O’Bannon, Treasurer-Tony Figueroa, and Secretary-Laura Bellah). Former President-Brenda Pritchard served as President for ten years and has now passed the torch to Richard Browder. Randy LeBlanc was also recognized as the Volunteer of the year!

Officer Steven Guerrero was introduced during the meeting as the new PAR officer for the department.
