Luis C., a 5th grader from Earnesteen Milstead Middle School, won 2nd place in the RESPECT contest and chose our shelter as the recipient of his $200 donation!
Luis’ generosity will directly help the strays we care for, ensuring they receive the medical care they need to recover and to find forever homes.
This annual contest, hosted by the Arnold & Itkin LLP Foundation, invites students to define the word “respect” and express it through words and art, and we couldn’t be more proud of Luis for his thoughtful entry.
