When her owner was deployed, Maxine was brought to the shelter. She was adopted briefly, but her playful nature was too much for her new family’s child, and now she’s back here, struggling to hold onto hope.
It’s devastating to see Maxine still waiting for a home. She’s potty trained, gets along with other dogs, and her greatest joy is simply curling up on your lap.
