As the 2024 Lago Mar Reunion Roundup Rodeo came to a close yesterday, Pasadena Rodeo was recognized and thanked for all of the hard work and hours that our committee selflessly contributed to the success of their event.
We are indebted to ALL our volunteers for their steadfast commitment. Our arena director, Bobby Moore, merits special recognition for his readiness to assist. His team’s and his dedication to our organization are deeply appreciated.

Each year during the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo a student enters their artwork into the auction. The last several years they’ve done drawings of the Frontier Rodeo crew. This year a student did a drawing of Pickupman, Shawn Calhoun (TooTall). It went into the auction in the #3 spot and sold for $2,750. These kids do an amazing job! THIS SATURDAY Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo will be hosting our first ever ARCHERY competition. Come join us just Saturday at 10:00 a.m. inside the arena to watch these students compete for a chance to win the buckle.
Cookoff week is upon us! We are monitoring the weather forecast closely but at this time there are no plans to cancel Cookoff.

VOLUNTEERS WANTED: LIVESTOCK AUCTION SPOTTERS
Are you looking for a rewarding opportunity to volunteer your time at? If so, look no further; being a PLS&R Livestock Auction Spotter might be the place for you!
Every year, our Auction Spotters are tasked with ensuring that no wanted bid goes unseen! Be on the ground floor and right in the middle of all the auction action on Thursday, September 26th.
If this sounds like a committee you would like to volunteer with, please join us August 15th at 6:30 p.m. for a MANDATORY Livestock Auction Committee meeting in the Directors Room at the Pasadena Rodeo grounds.

BARNYARD BINGO CANCELLED**
Please be advised that due to the recent disaster that has impacted not only our hometown but the surrounding communities, we have made the decision to cancel BARNYARD Bingo tomorrow, July 11th. As saddened as we are to announce this, we are even more heartbroken for our families, friends and neighbors that are still struggling in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl. Please know that each of you are in our thoughts and prayers.
If you have purchased a table, you will be refunded. Unfortunately, at this time we will not be able to reschedule this event. However, if that changes, we will let everyone know the new date. As always, thank you for supporting the Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo.
The Summer Prospect Show this weekend will go on!
We have been told electricity should be back on in the Ag Barn before this weekend BUT if you need a power source we recommend bringing one just in case! We look forward to seeing you all this weekend.
We will continue to pray for all of our neighbors affected by Hurricane Beryl.
